Very British.A true delight if you're into puns and sexual tension and skinny boys with long limbs and a fetish for bacon butties.I liked that it's not precisely a fanfic; it owes as much to The Sword in the Stone as to The Mists of Avalon, and I think co-opting the Merthur iconography (Merlin's big ears, Arthur's posh condescension) was a successful gambit—especially since it's set in modern Britain, not the Dark Ages. Many, many UK references. In fact, pretty much all the humor is UK-derived, so if you haven't seen Stephen Fry, Eddie Izzard, or Monty Python, or read Susan Cooper, Oscar Wilde, or Charles Dickens......well. Best see for yourself, I suppose. We chavs aren't always bloody great big pillocks, y'know.
